Consistently Obeying God

January 10, 2003

How do I get consistent obedience in my life? It seems if we could answer this question, we would solve so many problems. Half the time we don’t want to obey, and find ourselves dragging our feet, or not doing what’s right at all, other times we do have a desire to obey but don’t seem to follow through. Paul’s familiar experience of not doing the things he should, and doing the things he should not in Romans 7 is familiar to all Christians. How do I solve perhaps one of the fundamental questions of the Christian life: how do I please God consistently?
