Welcome to the newly rebuilt Bible Perspective website! We’re thrilled to relaunch this platform as a hub for exploring life through the lens of Scripture. Since November 2001, Bible Perspective has been a radio programme presented by David de Bruyn and broadcast by Radio Pulpit, airing Sundays at 7:30 a.m., with repeats on Sundays at 7:30 p.m., Mondays at 1:00 a.m., Saturdays at 1:00 a.m., and 1:00 p.m. Our mission remains unchanged: to provide sound, Scripture-rooted insights on a wide range of topics, guiding listeners and readers to view life from a biblical perspective.
This website will soon feature full, unedited transcripts of the radio programmes, offering you the chance to dive deeper into the discussions. Please note that transcripts may occasionally differ from the broadcasts due to length, final edits, or other factors. We’re working diligently to make these resources available and appreciate your patience as we build this space.
About David de Bruyn
David, a Johannesburg native, pastors New Covenant Baptist Church, where he has served since 2003. Married with three children, he holds a Diploma in Media Studies from the University of Johannesburg, a B.Th.(Hons.) from the South African Theological Seminary, a Master’s Degree from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Minnesota, and a Doctorate in Theology (Christian Spirituality) from the University of South Africa. Beyond pastoring, David is an itinerant and conference speaker, a lecturer at Shepherds Seminary Africa, and the author of several books, which you can explore on our resource page.
David’s theological convictions—described as Christian, credobaptist, compatibilist, cessationist, complementarian, creationist, conservative, and chiliast—shape the perspective he brings to the programme and this website.
